Why Cadiz?
Cadiz is the oldest city in the Europe. This much-loved seaside city is an ideal destination to learn Spanish in Spain. Let’s see why…
Cadiz is cozy!
Cadiz is a medium sized city. This makes it easy to get around without public transport. Unlike other larger cities, Cadiz is unaffected by mass tourism and most of the locals here do not speak English at all. If you want to immerse yourself in the culture and practise Spanish with the locals, Cadiz is the ideal city.
Cadiz is sunny!
With an average temperature of 19ºC and 3,200 hours of sun a year, there is no better place to do your homework after class than the beach. Now there is no excuse! A few meters from the school is the Caleta beach, where you can enjoy clear waters, spectacular weather and breathtaking sunsets. You can also change up your beach destination since Cadiz offers 10 km of amazing beaches.
Cadiz is culture!
When you’re properly tanned, get lost in the corners of the city and discover its thousands of years of history by visiting the Cathedral, the Archaeological Museum, the Tavira Tower, the Gadir archeological site, the fish market, and churches. You will also find some amazing small shops where you can find unique gifts of all kind at great prices.
Cadiz is social!
Finish the afternoon by touring a myriad of bars and restaurants where you can taste our famous tapas. After a fine feast you can continue to enjoy the famous “chiringuitos” (beach bars) to taste our famous Sherry while listening to some flamenco.
